How to Choose a Juice Cleanse in Singapore: Prices, Bottles and What to Check

Search “juice cleanse Singapore” and you get a dozen brands, prices from under S$50 to over S$150 a day, and very little way to compare them. We are one of those brands, so this is not a neutral review. It is the checklist we would use if we were buying from someone else, with the numbers you need to compare any cleanse fairly, including ours.

1. Work out the price per bottle, not per day

“Per day” hides the most important variable: how much juice you are actually getting. One brand’s day is six 500ml bottles (3 litres); another’s is six 250ml bottles (1.5 litres); another is five bottles plus a shot. Divide the day price by the total millilitres and the field reorders itself. As a reference point, a standard cold-pressed day of six 500ml bottles costs most Singapore brands S$70 to S$110 before promotions. Anything much cheaper is usually smaller bottles, heat-treated juice, or fruit-heavy recipes with a lot of apple as filler.

For transparency, ours: a 1-day Skinny Cleanse is S$84 for six 500ml bottles, S$67.20 after the 20% off that is applied to everything on the site, which is S$11.20 per 500ml bottle. The Half-Day Cleanse is S$59 (S$47.20 after discount) for a lighter menu built around a working day. Multi-day cleanses are priced per day, so three days is three times the one-day price.

2. Check whether it is actually cold-pressed and unpasteurised

“Cold-pressed” describes how the juice is extracted (a hydraulic press rather than a spinning blade), but it says nothing about what happens afterwards. Many bottled juices sold as cold-pressed are then put through HPP, high-pressure processing, which extends shelf life to 30 days or more. HPP juice is a legitimate product, but it is not the same thing as fresh. Ask two questions:

  • What is the shelf life? Three to five days means fresh, unprocessed juice. Weeks means it has been treated.
  • When was it pressed? Fresh juice should be pressed within a day or two of delivery. Ours is pressed the day before delivery and has a four-day shelf life; that is the trade-off for skipping heat and HPP.

Neither answer makes a cleanse “bad”. But if you are paying a fresh-juice price, you should be getting fresh juice.

3. Read the ingredient list for the vegetable-to-fruit ratio

This is where cheap cleanses save money. Apple and orange are inexpensive and sweet, so a juice can be 70% apple and still be called a “green juice”. A cleanse built that way is a sugar day. Look for the first two or three ingredients in each bottle: on a serious cleanse, most bottles should lead with vegetables (celery, cucumber, romaine, spinach, beetroot, carrot) and use fruit for taste. Also look for coconut water, ginger, lemon and a nut mylk in the evening; those signal a menu designed for someone to get through the day, not just a set of nice-sounding flavours.

4. Decide the length honestly

  • Half-day or 1-day: the right first cleanse. Low risk, you learn how your body responds, and you can do it on a workday.
  • 3-day: the standard. Long enough for the full de-bloat and the palate reset, short enough that most people complete it. This is what the majority of our customers buy.
  • 5-day: for experienced cleansers with a clear reason. Not a first cleanse.
  • 7-day and beyond: we do not sell these, and we would question any brand that recommends them to a first-timer.

5. Check the delivery logistics, because they decide whether you finish

Fresh juice has to reach you cold, on the day you need it, in a form you can store. Questions worth asking:

  • Is delivery free, and from what spend? (Ours is free over S$60, otherwise S$8.)
  • What is the order cutoff for next-day delivery? (Ours is 10.30pm.)
  • Is a multi-day cleanse delivered in one go or daily? One delivery is convenient; it also means day three’s juice is three days old. Daily delivery keeps every bottle fresh but ties you to being home. Either is workable as long as the shelf life covers it; just ask.
  • Does it come in a cooler bag with ice packs, and will it survive two hours at a condo guardhouse?

6. Look for real reviews and real support

Google reviews are harder to fake than website testimonials. Read the three-star ones, which is where you find out how a brand handles a late delivery or a leaking bottle. Then check whether there is a human to WhatsApp when day two gets hard at 4pm. A cleanse is a small commitment that many people abandon; a quick reply from someone who has done it matters more than another ingredient.

7. Ignore anything that promises “detox”

We said this in our piece on juice and weight loss and we will say it here: your liver does the detoxing. A cleanse gives you a few days of very clean, very low-calorie, plant-heavy eating, and that is valuable on its own. A brand that leads with toxins is telling you something about how it markets.

Putting it together: a quick scorecard

Before you buy any cleanse, you should be able to answer these from the brand’s website or a single WhatsApp message:

  • Price per 500ml bottle after any promotion
  • Pressed when, shelf life how long, HPP yes or no
  • First ingredient of each bottle
  • Delivery fee, cutoff, and whether multi-day is delivered daily
  • Number and average of Google reviews
  • Whether there is a prep and break-the-cleanse guide (ours is the complete guide to starting a juice cleanse)

If a brand cannot answer two of those, that is your answer.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest juice cleanse in Singapore?

Per day, there are options under S$50, usually with 250ml bottles or heat-treated juice. Per 500ml of fresh, unpasteurised cold-pressed juice, most brands cluster between S$11 and S$18 a bottle after discounts; ours is S$11.20 on the Skinny Cleanse.

Is a 3-day juice cleanse safe?

For a healthy adult, yes. It is not suitable in pregnancy, with diabetes, with a history of disordered eating, or under 18. Speak to a doctor if you have a medical condition.

Which juice cleanse is best for beginners?

A half-day or one-day cleanse from any reputable brand. The point of the first one is to learn how you respond, not to lose weight.

Can I do a juice cleanse while working?

Yes, most of our customers do. A one-day or half-day cleanse fits a normal office day; keep the bottles in the office fridge and plan the afternoon electrolyte juice for the 3pm slump.

Compare our plans on the juice cleanse page: Skinny, Vitality, Active and Half-Day, in 1, 3 and 5-day options, with 20% off applied automatically and free islandwide delivery over S$60.
